The Cascade has taken the Salmon fishing world by storm and is one of the most widely used flies today. I personally always carry several Cascades in my fly box, and have had many Salmon fall to this pattern. The largest recorded Salmon taken on The Isle of Skye, a fish of 34.6lbs, was caught by myself in October 2009, using a Cascade. A very sucessful fly.
